Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in procurement/purchasing/supply chain with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in procurement process management, vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and ERP software; data analysis; AI knowledge; CPSt and CSCP certificates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Supervise and mentor procurement team members and provide guidance on best practices.
• Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Manage supplier evaluation, selection and relationship management for quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (production, finance, logistics) to align procurement with objectives.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure optimal stock to minimise waste.
• Prepare procurement reports and documentation for management decision-making.

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Development Supervisor to join PT Multi Nitrotama Kimia in a full-time capacity, based in Cikampek, West Java. Responsible for overseeing procurement development initiatives and driving continuous improvement across our supply chain operations. As Procurement Development Supervisor, you will play a key role in optimising procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices that directly contribute to the organisation's operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures and strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce procurement costs
• Supervise and mentor procurement team members, providing guidance on procurement best practices and professional development opportunities
• Monitor and analyse procurement performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Manage supplier evaluation, selection and relationship management processes to ensure quality standards and timely delivery also strong strategic sourcing supplier relationship management
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including production, finance and logistics to align procurement activities with organisational objectives
• Lead and strong negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable contract terms
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure optimal stock management to minimise waste whilst maintaining adequate supply
• Prepare procurement reports and documentation for management review and decision-making also data analysis
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and quality standards in all procurement activities
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for supplier development and process improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Demonstrated expertise in procurement process management, vendor management and contract negotiation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Proficiency in procurement systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, digitalization (implementation E Procurement) and AI knowledge also have certificates CPSt and CSCP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organisational levels
• Experience in manufacturing industry procurement is highly desirable
• Knowledge of supply chain optimisation and inventory management principles
• Ability to lead and develop team members effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation
• Possesses high integrity and honesty, capable of working hard and under pressure also able to adapting and learning fast
• Excellent knowledge of english language, proficient in using computers (Ms Office), other tools and software also technology awareness
• Willing to be place in Cikampek, West Java
