Takeda Life Sciences in Jakarta, Indonesia, seeks a Lead Procurement role to manage end-to-end sourcing for BioLife plasma center network, supporting new centre openings and ongoing operations.

The role coordinates cross-functional planning with supply chain, operations, quality, legal, and IT teams to drive cost savings, supplier performance, and continuous improvement across procurement activities.

Responsibilities

• Manages end-to-end sourcing, including supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, ordering, and performance oversight
• Ensures procurement aligns with local requirements, regulations, and project timelines to enable successful launch and sustained operations
• Leads initial supply planning and fulfilment activities including PO and invoicing activities and ensuring supplier performance.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, pricing negotiations, contract support, purchase order placement and supplier performance management
• Coordinate cross-functional procurement planning with supply chain, operations, project management, quality, legal, and IT teams to meet implementation and business needs
• Serve as a strategic lead for supply initiatives, including center conversions (equipment, materials), network distribution strategies, and multi-vendor sourcing approaches
• Oversee inventory management and material requirements planning, ensuring appropriate stock levels, order processing, and delivery follow-up
• Monitor day-to-day supply chain and procurement activities (e.g., open POs, inventory levels) while identifying and driving process improvements across demand planning and ordering
• Generate cost savings through competitive sourcing, negotiations, and supplier strategies while maintaining ethical, mutually beneficial relationships
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability
