Job summary

BioLife is seeking an experienced procurement leader in Jakarta to manage the plasma center network's sourcing, supplier management, and end-to-end procurement for setup and ongoing operations.

You will coordinate cross-functional planning with supply chain, operations, project management, quality, legal and IT, ensure regulatory compliance, drive cost savings, optimize inventory, and support new center openings and ongoing conversions.

Responsibilities

• Leads procurement activities for BioLife’s plasma center network in Indonesia, supporting both setup and ongoing operations
• Manages end-to-end sourcing, including supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, ordering, and performance oversight
• Ensures procurement aligns with local requirements, regulations, and project timelines to enable successful launch and sustained operations
• Leads initial supply planning and fulfilment activities including PO and invoicing activities and ensuring supplier performance
• Lead procurement activities for BioLife plasma center network (including Indonesia), supporting new center openings, ongoing operations, through effective sourcing and purchasing
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, pricing negotiations, contract support, purchase order placement and supplier performance management
• Coordinate cross-functional procurement planning with supply chain, operations, project management, quality, legal, and IT teams to meet implementation and business needs
• Serve as a strategic lead for supply initiatives, including center conversions (equipment, materials), network distribution strategies, and multi-vendor sourcing approaches
• Oversee inventory management and material requirements planning, ensuring appropriate stock levels, order processing, and delivery follow-up
• Monitor day-to-day supply chain and procurement activities (e.g., open POs, inventory levels) while identifying and driving process improvements across demand planning and ordering
• Generate cost savings through competitive sourcing, negotiations, and supplier strategies while maintaining ethical, mutually beneficial relationships
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability
