Job summary

PT Takeda Indonesia is seeking a dedicated procurement lead to support BioLife plasma center network operations in Indonesia. The role focuses on sourcing, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration to launch and sustain centers in Jakarta and beyond.

Responsibilities include managing PO/invoicing, supplier performance, inventory planning, and cost-saving initiatives while aligning with local regulations and timelines.

• Leads end-to-end sourcing: supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, ordering, and performance oversight.
• Ensures procurement aligns with local requirements, regulations and project timelines.
• Leads initial supply planning including PO and invoicing activities and monitors supplier performance.
• Directs procurement for BioLife plasma center network in Indonesia, supporting new center openings and ongoing ops.
• Manages end-to-end procurement processes: supplier selection, pricing negotiations, contract support, PO placement.
• Coordinates cross-functional procurement planning with supply chain, operations, PM, quality, legal and IT.
• Acts as strategic lead for supply initiatives including center conversions and multi-vendor sourcing.
• Oversees inventory management and MRP to ensure stock levels, order processing and delivery follow-up.
• Monitors day-to-day procurement activities and drives process improvements in demand planning and ordering.
• Generates cost savings through competitive sourcing and supplier strategies while maintaining ethical relations.
• Supports continuous improvement to boost operational performance, productivity and profitability.

Job description

Leads procurement activities for BioLife’s plasma center network in Indonesia, supporting both setup and ongoing operations

• Manages end-to-end sourcing, including supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, ordering, and performance oversight
• Ensures procurement aligns with local requirements, regulations, and project timelines to enable successful launch and sustained operations
• Leads initial supply planning and fulfilment activities including PO and invoicing activities and ensuring supplier performance.
• Lead procurement activities for BioLife plasma center network (including Indonesia), supporting new center openings, ongoing operations, through effective sourcing and purchasing
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, pricing negotiations, contract support, purchase order placement and supplier performance management
• Coordinate cross-functional procurement planning with supply chain, operations, project management, quality, legal, and IT teams to meet implementation and business needs
• Serve as a strategic lead for supply initiatives, including center conversions (equipment, materials), network distribution strategies, and multi-vendor sourcing approaches
• Oversee inventory management and material requirements planning, ensuring appropriate stock levels, order processing, and delivery follow-up
• Monitor day-to-day supply chain and procurement activities (e.g., open POs, inventory levels) while identifying and driving process improvements across demand planning and ordering
• Generate cost savings through competitive sourcing, negotiations, and supplier strategies while maintaining ethical, mutually beneficial relationships
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability
