Job summary

About the role

MS Group is seeking an experienced Process, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrument, Civil, Lead Engineer to join our engineering team on a contract basis. This is a leadership position based in South Jakarta, Jakarta, where you will oversee multidisciplinary engineering projects and guide a team of engineers across multiple technical disciplines. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring project excellence, technical integrity, and the successful delivery of complex engineering solutions. This role is fundamental to maintaining our high standards of engineering excellence and driving innovation across our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering teams across process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery
• Develop comprehensive engineering designs, specifications, and technical documentation for complex projects
• Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements
• Coordinate between different engineering disciplines to identify synergies and resolve technical challenges
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple engineering workstreams

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, or related discipline)
• Minimum 4+ years of professional engineering experience across multiple disciplines within industrial or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience in a lead or senior engineering role with demonstrated project leadership capabilities
• Strong technical expertise in process engineering, mechanical design, electrical systems, instrumentation, and civil engineering principles
• Proficiency in engineering design software and tools (CAD, simulation software, project management platforms)
• Excellent knowledge of relevant Indonesian and international engineering codes, standards, and regulations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse stakeholders
• Project management experience with proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Professional Engineering registration or certification (preferred)
• Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, or similar heavy industry sectors (advantageous)
