Job summary

Eram Talent in Saudi Arabia is seeking a senior Process Design Engineer to support energy projects. You will develop process designs, run simulations, and contribute to FEED and detailed engineering for plant modifications.

This role requires leading HAZOP reviews, identifying debottlenecking opportunities across brownfield and greenfield sites, and coordinating cross-disciplinary teams from planning through execution to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient process solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• 7+ years in process engineering or plant operations.
• Experience leading or participating in HAZOP reviews.
• FEED and detailed engineering package delivery experience.
• Debottlenecking across brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Proficiency with Aspen Plus and HYSYS.
• Knowledge of gasification, power production, and related safety/environmental regs.
• Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
• Experience managing projects across planning, budgeting, execution.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in process engineering or plant operations, including hands-on work in process design and process simulation.
• Experience leading or participating in HAZOP reviews and delivering FEED and detailed engineering packages.
• Track record of identifying or executing debottlenecking initiatives across brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Proficiency with data analysis and process simulation software such as Aspen Plus and HYSYS.
• Strong knowledge of gasification processes, power production, and related technologies, along with safety and environmental regulations such as OSHA and EPA standards.
• Experience with process optimization methodologies, including Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
• Experience managing projects across planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, preparing engineering reports, and coordinating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Management.
• Experience in industries such as petrochemical, refining, gas processing, chemical manufacturing, gasification facilities, fertilizer plants, power generation plants, or large industrial utility operations.
• Holding a Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or PMP certification.
