Qualifications

As a Process Design Engineer, you will support the development and improvement of plant systems, working across engineering disciplines to help shape efficient, safe, and reliable process solutions for industrial facilities.

If selected, the work location would be onsite at Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Develop process designs, simulations, and engineering studies for energy projects.
• Deliver FEED and detailed engineering packages for plant modifications.
• Lead HAZOP reviews and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Identify debottlenecking opportunities across brownfield and greenfield facilities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout project planning and execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in process engineering or plant operations, including hands-on work in process design and process simulation.
• Experience leading or participating in HAZOP reviews and delivering FEED and detailed engineering packages.
• Track record of identifying or executing debottlenecking initiatives across brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Proficiency with data analysis and process simulation software such as Aspen Plus and HYSYS.
• Strong knowledge of gasification processes, power production, and related technologies, along with safety and environmental regulations such as OSHA and EPA standards.
• Experience with process optimization methodologies, including Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
• Experience managing projects across planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, preparing engineering reports, and coordinating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Management.
• Experience in industries such as petrochemical, refining, gas processing, chemical manufacturing, gasification facilities, fertilizer plants, power generation plants, or large industrial utility operations.
• Holding a Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or PMP certification.
