Job summary

BYD Company Limited in Indonesia seeks a seasoned manufacturing process lead to design, develop and document production processes and tooling. You will participate in capacity planning, line balancing, and layout optimization to enable efficient mass production.

You will validate processes, lead new technology adoption, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring security policies are followed and reported.

Qualifications

• Advanced English proficiency is required; Chinese language is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing/process roles.
• Bachelor degree in Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering or Electronic Information Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of product manufacturing processes and prepare related process documentation.
• Lead the design, development, tracking, and validation review of tooling and fixtures.
• Participate in capacity planning and production line balancing analysis, and optimize production line layout.
• Support equipment selection evaluation, manufacturing capability assessment, and process reviews during product development.
• Participate in the development of automated production line simulation and digital process simulation.
• Lead new process validation and resolve process issues during trial and mass production with continuous improvement.
• Undertake R&D tasks related to new process technologies.
• Implement information security management policies and monitor/report violations.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of product manufacturing processes and prepare related process technical documentation.

2. Lead the design, development, tracking, and validation review of tooling and fixtures.

3. Participate in capacity planning and production line balancing analysis, and support the optimization of production line layout.

4. Support equipment selection evaluation, manufacturing capability assessment, and process reviews during the product development stage.

5. Participate in the development of automated production line simulation and digital process simulation.

6. Lead new process validation and analyze as well as resolve process-related issues during trial production and mass production, with continuous improvement and knowledge accumulation.

7. Undertake research and development tasks related to new process technologies.

8. Implement the company’s information security management policies and requirements, and monitor and report any violations.

9. Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. English is advanced, chinese is able to speak is preferred;
