Job summary

Asuransi Ciputra Life seeks an experienced pricing actuary to lead pricing for new products and repricing of existing lines at Ciputra World Jakarta. You will analyze risk, profitability, and market conditions to optimize pricing strategies.

The role requires 3-5 years in actuarial pricing within insurance, strong analytical skills, and collaboration with underwriters and product teams. Proactive learning and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of actuarial experience with a focus on pricing in the insurance industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Team player with strong problem-solving ability.
• Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience or knowledge in programming languages such as R or Python is preferable.
• PAI certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pricing for new products and repricing of existing products, including assumption setting, pricing models, and profit testing.
• Provide input on product design and pricing structures based on risk, profitability, and market conditions.
• Handle group scheme quotations and repricing, including loss ratio monitoring and tariff adjustment recommendations at policy renewal.
• Prepare and support product reporting submissions to OJK, including actuarial reports and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with underwriters, product managers, and other stakeholders to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
• Conduct profitability analyses and recommend pricing adjustments as needed.
• Monitor pricing strategy performance and recommend enhancements based on market conditions and company goals.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, regulations, and risk management requirements.
