Job summary

Lancesoft APAC seeks a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support production operations in Indonesia. You will perform dimensional, hardness, phosphating, testing and assembly inspections, ensuring conformity to drawings, specifications, ITPs and customer requirements.

You will review documentation, maintain inspection reports, support FAI, verify tool calibration, and raise NCRs when needed. The role emphasizes QMS, HSE compliance, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant technical discipline or technical high school qualification with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in inspection and measurement of component parts within a similar manufacturing industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Familiarity with measuring instruments, gauges, and dimensional inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), manufacturing processes, and HSE requirements.
• Ability to prepare and maintain inspection reports and technical documentation in accordance with Baker Hughes specifications and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review routing packages, including specifications, engineering drawings, picklists, and document revisions, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain dimensional inspection reports, Certificates of Conformance (COCs), inspection reports, and traceability records within the MO package.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and in-process inspection activities.
• Verify the calibration status and validity of measuring instruments, gauges, and inspection tools.
• Review and validate inspection reports and documentation from outsourced processes.
• Perform inspections according to work orders, including dimensional, hardness, phosphating, testing, and assembly inspections.
• Accurately record inspection results and raise NCRs for products or processes that do not meet specified requirements.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and traceable inspection records in accordance with QMS requirements.
• Accept or reject products based on inspection results within the applicable certification level.
• Release products that meet specified requirements and generate acceptance reports.
• Review and approve outsourced inspection reports to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures.
• Place non-conforming products on hold and initiate appropriate non-conformance disposition procedures.
• Exercise HSE and Quality Stop Work authority whenever unsafe conditions or quality issues are identified.
• Participate in Quality and HSE programs and contribute to continuous improvement at the Batam site.
