Job summary

Baker Hughes in Batam, Indonesia seeks a Quality Control Inspector to perform daily inspection tasks ensuring conformance to drawings, ITPs, and API/customer specs. You will review routing packages, provide inspection reports, and support FAI and in-process checks.

Responsibilities include gauge verification, calibration checks, and documenting results with NCRs as needed, while maintaining QMS records and contributing to QSE culture.

Qualifications

• Read and understand technical drawings and inspection plans.
• Familiar with tools and gauges for measurement.
• Perform detailed dimensional inspection of components.
• Ability to report and verify hardness, phosphate visuals, and hydro tests.
• Knowledge of QMS and HSE awareness.

Responsibilities

• Review routing package (spec, drawing, picklist, revisions).
• Provide dimensional data, COC, inspection reports, and traceability.
• Support First Article Inspection and in-process checks.
• Verify gauges and tool calibration.
• Validate outsourced inspection reports.
• Conduct inspections per work orders (dimensional, hardness, phosphating, tests, assembly).
• Record results accurately and raise NCRs for non-conformances.
• Maintain complete inspection records per QMS requirements.
• Participate in Quality & HSE programs and drive improvement at Batam site.
