Job summary
Baker Hughes is seeking a Quality Control Inspector/Operator-Expert at our Batam site. The role involves daily inspection of components, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to ITP and API/customer specs to ensure quality prior to release.
The successful candidate will document results, support NCRs, and uphold QMS/HSE standards across production processes. The position requires a diploma or technical high school education with several years of inspection experience, reading engineering drawings,
Qualifications
- Diploma or technical high school with 3 years' experience.
- Experience in inspection and measurement of component parts in manufacturing.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools.
- Knowledge of Hydro test parameters and report validation; proficiency in hardness testing and phosphate visual inspection.
Responsibilities
- Review routing packages (spec, drawing, picklist, revision).
- Provide dimensional, COC, inspection reports and traceability for MO package.
- Support FAI and in-process inspection activities.
- Verify gauges and tool calibration and record inspection results.
- Raise NCRs for non-conforming items and maintain inspection records per QMS.
