Job summary

PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk is seeking a seasoned PPIC professional to oversee production planning, inventory control, and materials management, ensuring timely, cost-conscious food production.

You will develop production plans, schedules, and forecasts, supervise PPIC staff, analyze performance data, and drive improvements through ERP/MRP systems while coordinating with procurement, production, and logistics to meet demand and promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in production planning and inventory control, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience; strong PPIC knowledge; ERP/MRP proficiency (SAP/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and forecasts to meet demand and optimize resource utilization.
• Manage and monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics departments to ensure seamless material flow and on-time delivery.
• Supervise and train a team of PPIC personnel.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and quality standards in production planning.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align production plans with sales forecasts and promotions.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems effectively for planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Prepare regular reports on production planning performance, inventory status, and material availability.
