Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a PPIC/Production Planning professional in Indonesia to create and manage weekly and monthly production schedules, ensuring optimal machine and labor use. You will monitor inventories across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to avoid stockouts or excess stock and coordinate with Procurement and Sales on material arrivals and demand forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in PPIC, production planning, or inventory control, preferably in manufacturing or food/agribusiness.
• Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create, monitor, and adjust weekly and monthly production schedules to ensure optimal machine and labor utilization.
• Monitor raw material, packaging, and finished goods inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
• Coordinate closely with the Procurement department regarding the arrival of raw materials and with the Sales department regarding demand forecasts.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile physical stock with system data (ERP/SAP).
• Analyze production data and prepare regular reports on production efficiency, inventory turnover, and capacity utilization.
• Identify bottlenecks in the production process and propose actionable solutions to improve workflow efficiency.
