Job summary

Hamesha Studio is seeking a seasoned PPIC Manager to oversee production planning, scheduling, and control across 14+ craft departments. You will bridge creative and operational workflows to ensure on-time delivery, optimal resource use, and high quality.

You will manage material flow, BOM accuracy, inventory levels, and coordinate with production, R&D, and sales. Strong ERP proficiency (preferably Odoo), analytical mindset, and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in production planning and control, preferably in furniture, interior, or multi-material industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems (preferably Odoo).
• Solid understanding of inventory management, material flow, and production processes.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master production schedules based on sales orders, forecast, and stock levels.
• Convert client orders into daily/weekly production targets for each craft department.
• Balance workload and capacity across all workshops.
• Monitor and control raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
• Maintain minimum stock levels and reorder points for essential materials.
• Implement barcode or serial tracking systems for parts and finished products.
• Create and validate Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure accuracy across departments.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Anticipate delays or shortages and provide proactive solutions.
• Coordinate cross-departmental timelines to meet delivery deadlines.
• Implement production control systems (e.g., Odoo-based scheduling, Kanban).
• Minimize idle time, bottlenecks, and production waste.
• Liaise between R&D, production, procurement, and sales to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain updated production reports and dashboards for management review.
• Assist in product costing and time-study evaluations.

This role bridges the creative and operational aspects of the business, ensuring every custom product is delivered on time, at the highest quality, and with optimal resource use. The PPIC Manager will oversee material flow, monitor stock levels, manage BOM accuracy, and coordinate closely with the production, R&D, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning
