Job summary

GE Vernova invites motivated Prakerin students for a 6-month internship in Jakarta Pusat. You will work under the Electrical Leader to support electrical design concepts, preliminary calculations, drawings, and BOM preparation for Power Transformer products.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration with Electrical and Mechanical teams, and learning to meet customer specs while building a pathway to an Electrical Engineer position after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Power).
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Willing to commit to a full-time internship for 6 months.
• Prior internship in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical design calculations for projects and tenders.
• Create BOMs and FEM-based analysis reports.
• Support production to meet customer specs.
• Collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical teams on drawings.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and customers on design.
• Learn and implement EHS directives and improve EHS culture.
• Identify opportunities to shorten design lead times through automation.
• Coordinate with industrial teams to ensure safety and compliance.
