Plant Office internship at Cikarang

Job summary

Schneider Electric in Indonesia is offering a six-month internship for Mechanical Engineering students to design non-standard parts for LV/MV switchgear and to support BOM creation and drafting. You will prepare stock requisitions, issue BOMs, update drawings, and assist PM and Tendering during proposals and orders while gaining hands-on CAD experience with AutoCAD and Creo.

Qualifications

Active D3 or S1 student majoring in Mechanical Engineering (required).
Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Creo, or other 2D/3D design tools.
Good understanding of mechanical drawing standards and drafting techniques.
Familiar with engineering materials and basic manufacturing processes.
Willing to perform the internship offline at our Plant Office in Cikarang for 6 months minimum.

Responsibilities

Design non-standard mechanical parts for LV and MV switchgear per customer requirements.
Prepare and issue Bills of Materials (BOM) and Stock Requisitions for project needs.
Develop and update mechanical drawings, including detailed drafting for customized designs.
Provide technical support to Project Management (PM) and Tendering teams during offer preparation and order execution.
Ensure all designs comply with engineering standards and specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
