Job summary

APRIL is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems across Power Boiler, Evaporator, Recausticizing, and Lime Kiln areas. The role requires hands-on experience with motors, MCC, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, and protection systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.

Based in Pangkalan Kerinci, Pelalawan, Riau, you will read electrical drawings, support shutdowns and commissioning, and

Qualifications

D3/S1 Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within process industries.
Hands-on experience in Power Boiler, Evaporator, Recausticizing, or Lime Kiln areas preferred.
Strong ability to read single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Familiar with LOTO, electrical safety, work permits and HSE procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment for safe plant operation.
Coordinate with Operations and other maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and P&IDs.
Support shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning activities as needed.
