Job summary

Michelin Indonesia is seeking a Power Distribution Engineer to maintain and optimize the site electrical infrastructure in Bekasi, ensuring reliable power supply and leading preventive and corrective maintenance initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 3–5 years of experience, familiarity with MV/LV equipment, ETAP, and strong English/Bahasa Indonesia skills. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve energy performance and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, maintenance, or industrial utilities
• Hands‑on experience with electrical systems in industrial environments
• Experience in project management, budgeting, and technical documentation/reporting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electrical engineering tools (e.g., ETAP)
• Knowledge of MV switchgear, LV MCC, digital protection relays, and transformers (150 kV, 20 kV, 400 V)
• Business proficiency in English (B2) and Bahasa Indonesia

In the domain of power distribution and electrical infrastructure, Ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation of site electrical systems and power supply. Maintain and optimize electrical equipment through effective preventive and corrective maintenance. Monitor energy performance and support continuous improvement in system reliability and efficiency. Support site projects and ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, maintenance, or industrial utilities
• Hands‑on experience with electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments
• Experience in project management, budgeting, and technical documentation/reporting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electrical engineering tools (e.g., ETAP)
• Knowledge of electrical equipment: MV switchgear, LV MCC, digital protection relays, and power transformers (150 kV, 20 kV, 400 V)
• Business proficiency in English (B2) and Bahasa Indonesia
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a data‑driven mindset aligned with Michelin’s value of Respect for Facts

Preferred:

• Ahli K3 Listrik certification
• Experience in energy management, power quality analysis, and system optimization
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies in industrial environments
• Experience supporting continuous improvement programs (Lean, Kaizen, or similar initiatives)
