Job summary

Talent Search Recruitment - Indonesia is seeking a Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) Production Head to lead the Production function for the Poly Fiber plants in Indonesia. You will oversee production planning and execution for PSF manufacturing units and report to the COO of Poly Fiber Business.

You will drive manufacturing operations, identify process improvements, manage power plant operations, and guide technology adoption to reduce costs while ensuring quality and timely material availability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering with 18 to 20 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing/Textile projects with at least 10 years in a leadership role in Polyester Staple Fiber production.
• Masters Degree in Textile will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in drafting & implementing production policies & guidelines

Responsibilities

• Direct development of the Manufacturing divisions operational plans (Production, Engineering, Quality & NPD) on an annual basis and oversee their implementation to meet the goals formulated
• Drive the end to end polymer, fiber and filament production related planning & execution for manufacturing facilities of Polyester Staple Fiber business
• Ensure identification of areas of improvements from a process efficiency & cost saving opportunity perspective focusing on reducing redundancies, duplication of effort etc.
• Oversee the operations of captive power plant in order to ensure that energy requirements of the plants are fulfilled.
• Provide guidance on engineering process improvements as well as implementation of new technologies to reduce manufacturing costs
• Develop and formulate processes, technologies & related interventions with deployment, execution & operational plans
• Oversee and provide support for the development of detailed and robust project plans for resources & materials requirements, project cost, timelines and responsibilities
• Manage coordination with the central procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials as per the requirements
• Detect non conformities, identify key areas to improve and investigate irregularities and agree on timeframe for corrective actions
• Oversee quality of the products and provide support in development of quality control mechanisms on key operational and cost parameters
• Lead the development of plans to ensure effective storage of raw-material in site stores and warehouses
• Oversee deployment of manpower, equipment and other resources at all the manufacturing business units and ensure adherence to prescribed quality standards
• Oversee IR management, proactively communicate with labor unions and address their concerns when required or in case of escalations to ensuresmooth operations
• ensure uniform grievance handling approach, while maintaining harmonious industrial relations
• Consolidate all the reports into detailed quarterly or annual Manufacturing reports that also includes non-conformities, opportunities for improvement and action plans
• Foster a culture of development and guidance within the Manufacturing division; Empower team members to take decisions by effectively delegating authority and promote a high-performance working environment embracing the Company's values.

About the Role
