Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim in Jakarta is seeking a Plumbing & Fire-Fighting Engineer to design and review plumbing and fire protection systems for building projects. You will prepare shop drawings, calculations, and technical docs, and coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and HVAC teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in plumbing and fire-fighting engineering, preferably in building construction, commercial, or residential.
Good knowledge of plumbing and fire protection system design and installation.
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Experience with AutoCAD.
Knowledge of hydraulic calculations and fire-fighting system calculations is preferred.
Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills.

Responsibilities

Design and review plumbing and fire-fighting systems.
Prepare and review shop drawings, design calculations, material submittals, and technical documents.
Coordinate plumbing and fire-fighting works with architectural, structural, electrical, HVAC, and other MEP disciplines.
Supervise site installation and ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor material delivery, installation progress, workmanship, and resource requirements.
Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of plumbing and fire-fighting systems.
Prepare and review method statements, inspection and test plans.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
Ensure compliance with applicable local regulations, project requirements, and relevant standards.
Monitor project progress and support the project team in achieving cost, quality, and schedule targets.
Maintain proper documentation and technical records.
Support testing, authority inspections, handover, and final project documentation
