NPAworldwide is seeking a Construction Manager for our mining project in Indonesia to lead day-to-day civil, structural, and mechanical activities on site.
You will plan and sequence work packages to meet milestones, supervise subcontractors and inspectors, enforce strict QHSE standards, and coordinate with process, operations, and environmental teams. Strong reading of drawings, P&IDs, and familiarity with Primavera P6 or MS Project are required.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Lead and manage day-to-day construction activities including civil works, structural steel, concrete, earthworks, and mechanical/electrical installation on mine site.
Plan, schedule, and sequence construction work packages to align with project milestones and production requirements.
Supervise subcontractors, construction crews, and third-party inspectors; ensure workmanship quality meets project specifications and standards.
Enforce QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) compliance on site zero-tolerance approach to safety violations.
Conduct daily and weekly site meetings; track progress against baseline schedule and report deviations to the Project Manager.
Manage construction RFIs (Requests for Information), site instructions, and design clarifications between field teams and engineering.
Control construction budgets at site level monitor labor hours, material consumption, and equipment utilization against approved cost plans.
Oversee construction commissioning and pre-commissioning activities in coordination with Process/Operations teams.
Coordinate with environmental and permit teams to ensure all construction activities comply with AMDAL and local government regulations.
Maintain accurate construction records: daily reports, as-built drawings, inspection test records (ITRs), and punch lists.
Facilitate construction handover to operations ensure all closeout documentation, red-lines, and O&M; manuals are submitted.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
Diploma (D3/D4) accepted with exceptional field experience. Minimum 812 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
Mandatory: demonstrated experience in mining (gold, copper, coal, or nickel) or large-scale heavy industrial construction.
Hands-on experience with earthworks, cut & fill, tailings, process plant construction, or mine infrastructure is highly preferred.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs;, and construction specifications.
Familiar with construction management tools: Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
Strong understanding of Indonesian construction safety regulations (K3 Konstruksi), PUPR standards, and site permit requirements.
Valid Construction Supervisor Competency Certificate (SKA/SKT Pengawas Konstruksi) preferred.
