JAC Recruitment in Jakarta is seeking a Piping Engineer for a wastewater treatment plant project. You will design piping systems, review 3D models, and coordinate with vendors and other disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 2–3 years of piping design experience in industrial plants, and business-level English. On-site role with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in piping design for industrial plants.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Business-level fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Review and revise piping and instrumentation diagrams, piping layouts, and isometric drawings.
• Review 3D model outputs using Navisworks for clash detection and design optimization.
• Prepare and check piping material take-off.
• Create material specifications and technical documentation.
• Design piping systems in compliance with international standards.
• Design and optimize piping support systems, including standard and special support details.
• Perform pipe-support load calculations and ensure optimal placement.
• Review and revise pipe-support drawings.
• Review and approve vendor drawings and technical submissions.
