Job summary

CRecTech is seeking a technically strong leader to oversee pilot-plant operations and serve as the primary escalation point for process troubleshooting and performance analysis. The role requires guiding teams through root-cause analyses and implementing operational improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a background in chemical/process engineering, 4+ years in process industry, and strong leadership along with clear English communication with the Head Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/process engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant process-industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of process equipment, process control and plant performance analysis.
• Familiar with RCA, HAZOP and MOC.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Good command of English for communication with Head Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting of significant plant and equipment issues.
• Analyze plant performance, trends, alarms and operating data.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis for trips and recurring problems.
• Recommend corrective actions and operational improvements.
• Support process optimisation and controlled plant trials.
• Participate in HAZOP, MOC and process-safety reviews.
• Review operating, start-up, shutdown and troubleshooting procedures.
• Mentor Plant Operations Engineers and Technicians.
• Prepare and review technical reports for management.
• Manage operational scheduling where required.
