Responsibilities

• Carry out physiotherapy service programs and plans related to physiotherapy services to support patient healing.
• Attend briefings before scheduled patient appointments to obtain information on prior conditions.
• Check the function and cleanliness of tools at the start of each shift to ensure standards.
• Receive patients using service standards to ensure consistent service.
• Explain the procedures, duration, and effects to patients to provide complete education.
• Carry out physiotherapy program per established procedures until completion.
• Educate patients and families after the procedure regarding home care and schedule the next session.
• Document patient files before, during and after procedures as evaluation material.

• Carry out Medical Rehabilitation service programs and plans related to physiotherapy services in accordance with service standards and procedures as well as applicable laws and regulations to support the patient's healing and recovery process
• Attend briefings before scheduled patient appointments to obtain information regarding previous operational conditions
• Check the function and cleanliness of tools at the start of each shift to ensure all tools used comply with standards
• Receive patients using service standards set by the Hospital to ensure consistency of service received by patients
• Carrying out an assessment regarding the condition and complaints of discomfort experienced by the patient in determining a diagnosis to plan the program and actions that will be given to the patient and selecting physiotherapy modalities
• Analyzing integrated information from patient assessment data to determine the suitability of the physiotherapy program programmed by the doctor with the assessment results
• Explain the procedure to be given, the length of time, and the effects of the procedure to the patient to ensure that the patient receives complete initial education
• Carry out the physiotherapy program in accordance with established procedures until completion to ensure patient comfort and safety during the process action takes place
• Educate patients and their families/companions after the procedure regarding home care and schedule the next session to ensure the continuity of the patient's healing process
• Carry out complete documentation of patient files before, during and after procedures as evaluation material to improve subsequent medical rehabilitation services
• Collect required data and/or make reports related to operational activities as accountability to superiors
• Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, collecting data, documenting and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets
