Job summary

JWCC, a women and children hospital delivering hospital-level excellence with boutique-level care, seeks a pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. The role focuses on providing pharmaceutical services in line with professional standards and hospital policies.

You will receive, store, prepare, dispense, and distribute medications; monitor inventory and expiry dates; and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to support patient care.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical services in accordance with professional standards, laws and regulations, and hospital policies.
• Receive, store, prepare, dispense, and distribute medications and pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure the safe and effective management of medications and pharmaceutical supplies by adhering to quality assurance, medication safety, and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Manage and monitor inventory, storage, and expiration dates for medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, accreditation activities, and the development of pharmaceutical services at the hospital.

Experience in a hospital is preferred.

Must have a valid STR.
