Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Purwakarta is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support prescription screening, dispensing, and distribution for both outpatient and inpatient units. You will prepare and compound medications, assist at the pharmacy counter, and ensure accurate medication data entry.

You will monitor stock, maintain records, and collaborate with doctors and nurses to deliver safe patient care. Diploma in Pharmacy and 1 year experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmacy and registration or eligibility to practice.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmacy services; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong knowledge of medication handling and pharmacy procedures.
• Familiar with hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy services including prescription screening, dispensing, and distribution for outpatient and inpatient units.
• Prepare and compound medications according to pharmacist instructions and prescriptions.
• Serve patients at the pharmacy counter with data entry and medication information.
• Perform double-check procedures to ensure accuracy of prescriptions.
• Educate patients and families on dosage, usage, storage, and side effects.
• Monitor and manage drug stock including receiving and recording inventory.
• Maintain documentation and filing of prescriptions and pharmacy records.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Support insurance/guarantee prescription processes with related units.

• Prepare and compound medications based on pharmacist instructions and prescriptions accurately
• Serve patients at the pharmacy counter, including data entry, providing drug information, and confirming medication details
• Perform double-check procedures to ensure accuracy between prescription, medication, and patient data
• Provide education to patients and families regarding dosage, usage, storage, and possible side effects of medications
• Monitor and manage drug stock, including receiving, storing, and recording inventory
• Conduct routine checks on medicines and medical supplies to ensure quality and availability
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of prescriptions and pharmacy records
• Support insurance/guarantee prescription processes and coordinate with related units

• Diploma (D3) in Pharmacy
