Job summary

SIGMATECH in Indonesia seeks a Performance Tester in the Banking industry to design, develop, and execute performance test scenarios based on business and system requirements. You will lead Load, Stress, Endurance, and Scalability testing with JMeter and LoadRunner, monitor performance, and work with Dev, QA, Infra, and DevOps to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering.
• Banking / Financial Services industry experience.
• Hands-on experience using JMeter and LoadRunner for performance testing.
• Design and execute Load, Stress, Endurance, and Scalability tests.
• Analyze response time, throughput, concurrency, and bottlenecks.
• Familiar with SQL and database performance analysis.

The role involves performing Load, Stress, Endurance, and Scalability Testing using industry-standard tools and analyzing performance test results to identify bottlenecks and system limitations.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute performance test scenarios based on business and system requirements

Perform Load, Stress, Endurance, and Scalability Testing using JMeter and LoadRunner

Analyze performance test results and identify performance bottlenecks and system limitations

Monitor application, infrastructure, and database performance during test execution

Work closely with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to identify and troubleshoot performance issues

Prepare performance test reports, analysis, findings, and recommendations

Provide recommendations for system optimization and capacity improvement

Support performance testing activities throughout the SDLC and Agile development lifecycle

Ensure applications meet defined performance, stability, scalability, and response-time requirements

About you

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering

Proven experience in Banking / Financial Services industry

Strong hands‑on experience using JMeter and LoadRunner for performance testing

Experienced in designing and executing Load Testing, Stress Testing, Endurance Testing, and Scalability Testing

Able to analyze response time, throughput, TPS, concurrency, and system bottlenecks

Experience in creating and maintaining performance test scripts, scenarios, workloads, and test execution plans

Strong understanding of API, web application, and backend performance testing

Experience in analyzing performance test results and identifying the root cause of performance issues

Familiar with SQL and database performance analysis

Good analytical and problem‑solving skills
