• Adjust crumbler rolls based on feed type to ensure particle size specs.
• Operate pellet mill machines to maximize production output and efficiency.
• Replace dies, rolls, and sieves per schedule and operational needs.
• Perform start-up/shut-down segregation to maintain color and quality.
• Ensure proper changeovers to prevent cross-contamination.
• Conduct routine particle size inspections to meet quality standards.
• Monitor Pellet Durability Index (PDI) per company specs for pellet strength.
• Ensure conditioning temperature meets standards for quality and bacterial control.
• Monitor feed temperature after the cooler before packaging.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and process integrity.
• Inspect bins during product changes to prevent contamination.
