Job description

This is a full-time, on-site Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Maths and Physics Teacher role based in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics and Physics aligned with the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE curriculum, using a variety of instructional strategies to support diverse learning needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, guiding learners through theoretical concepts and problem-solving, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will also participate in academic meetings, coordinate with colleagues to improve teaching practices, support students’ university preparation, and contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

1. Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Physics relevant to the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE curriculum.

2. Demonstrated experience in Teaching, preferably at the secondary or pre-university level.

3. Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including designing structured schemes of work and classroom activities.

4. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field.

5. Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support diverse learners in a gender-neutral, inclusive environment.
