Job summary

A for Effort in Jakarta's South Jakarta facility seeks a full-time, high-quality Math Teacher to join our team. You will teach 1-on-1 private, semi-private, or small-group classes entirely in English.

The role covers students from upper elementary to high school seniors preparing for IB, IGCSE, or AP exams. On-site only, with evening and Saturday hours, and a commitment to delivering engaging, standards-aligned math lessons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Advanced subject knowledge and ability to teach higher-level math (IB/A-Level preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience.
• Native or near-native English proficiency (min 8/10).
• Willingness to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Willing to work overtime if needed.
• For full-time: 40 hours/week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Teach Math at all levels, including higher-level classes for high school seniors.
• Deliver personalized, engaging lessons adapted to each student’s needs.
• Prepare students for international curriculum assessments and exams.
• Maintain accurate lesson records and progress updates.
• Collaborate with our team to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
