Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar industry or role.
• Prior experience as a Pastry Chef, Culinary Chef, Technical Advisor, Food Specialist, or within the Hotel, Foodservice, or Hospitality industry will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute opportunities within assigned accounts and prospects as outlined in the sales plan.
• Understand customer needs and create value-added product solutions.
• Manage sales channels, including distributors, wholesalers, brokers, and end-users.
• Tailor product applications and solutions to increase account volume and profitability.
• Utilize solution-based selling techniques to expand product mix and sales volume.
• Develop and expand new customer accounts.
• Leverage relationships and cross-functional knowledge to identify and secure new business opportunities in achieving overall sales objectives.
• Support new product launches and introductions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and applications, including recipe development, ingredient blending, cake decoration, and related activities.
• Execute promotional activities to drive sales growth.
• Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Address customer complaints and service issues effectively.
• Assist in coordinating relationships between distributors, wholesalers, and customer outlets.
• Provide technical support and professional guidance on product applications and business development opportunities to customers and outlets.
• Support new outlet openings and business expansion initiatives.
• Participate in trade exhibitions, industry events, and product showcases as required.
• Prepare regular reports covering sales activities, customer insights, competitor information, and other business-related updates.
• Develop a strong understanding of market dynamics and trends to support business growth.
• Continuously enhance sales, technical, and product knowledge to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, policies, and government requirements.
