Job summary

Nakamura Study Japan in Tangerang, Banten seeks a part-time Japanese language teacher to guide students across proficiency levels. The role is based at our Tangerang location with evening classes, requiring strong language skills and a student-focused approach.

Candidates should hold JLPT N3 or higher, with N2/N1 preferred, and be fluent in Japanese and Indonesian; English is a plus. Training will be provided to support online and in-person teaching, with mentorship to foster student success.

Qualifications

• Minimum JLPT N3, preferably N2 or N1.
• Experience teaching JLPT N5 to N4 level is preferred.
• Fluency in Japanese and Indonesian. English is a plus.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Able to engage and motivate students in an online learning environment.

• Teaching Japanese language courses to students at various proficiency levels.
• Be able to teach at our location in Tangerang, Banten in the evening.
• Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Minimum JLPT N3, preferably N2 or N1 certification.
• Experience teaching JLPT N5 to N4 level Japanese classes is preferred.
• Fluency in Japanese and Indonesian. (both written and spoken). English is a plus.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Able to engage and motivate students in an online learning environment.
• Prior teaching experience is a plus. (but not required, as training will be provided).
