Job summary

PT Otsuka Indonesia is seeking an experienced Packaging & Process Development Section Head to lead packaging and process development activities within the Manufacturing Process Development department at Lawang Factory.

This role oversees product and process development, packaging development, process validation, pilot-scale and scale-up activities, ensuring GMP compliance for domestic and export markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy with Apoteker qualification.
• Strong experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and product/process development.
• Deep knowledge of GMP, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Process Development, Packaging Development and Process Validation.
• Understanding of packaging materials, processes and line trials.
• Analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Leadership and cross-functional communication abilities.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee packaging and process development activities from development through validation.
• Lead packaging development, line compatibility trials, pilot-scale and scale-up activities.
• Lead process validation activities related to packaging and process development.
• Ensure development activities comply with GMP requirements and export standards.
• Provide technical direction for development projects.

Job Overview

Key Qualifications

• - Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy with Professional Pharmacist Qualification (Apoteker).
• - Strong experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and product/process development.
• - Strong knowledge of GMP, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Process Development, Packaging Development, and Process Validation.
• - Good understanding of packaging materials, packaging processes, and line compatibility trials.

Required Experience

• - Experience in line compatibility trials, pilot-scale, or scale-up activities is relevant to the role.
