Job summary

Mattel Asia Pacific is seeking a packaging graphics designer to oversee the full lifecycle of packaging artwork, from initial concept at the headquarters to production-ready designs. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, branding integrity, and regulatory compliance across markets.

The role requires a bachelor’s in visual communication design or a related field and at least 1 year of packaging design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in packaging graphic design.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or other graphic design software.
• Able to create 2D packaging mockups.
• Strong sense of color and composition.
• Proficient in time management and maintaining digital graphic assets.
• Quick to learn printing materials and operations.
• Proactive, open-minded, problem-solving, and a team player.
• Proficient in Business English communication.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to be based in Cikarang.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the comprehensive development of packaging graphics, from the design phase at headquarters to a fully manufacturable packaging design.
• Supervise the management and approval of layered packaging designs, ensuring timely adherence to printed packaging requirements for piloting and production.
• Ensure packaging complies with copy language translations and latest legal requirements for each country.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure graphics are accurate and conform to all specifications, including legal names and proofs.
• Establish and manage on-time review processes for packaging artworks and ensure market label approvals align with project timelines.
