Job summary

Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore seeks a senior inspector with a strong background in piping, welding and NDT for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities. The ideal candidate holds a S1 degree in mechanical/Materials engineering or science and possesses CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent certification, plus multiple NDT qualifications (RT/UT/MT/PT Level 2) and NACE Level 2 or equivalent.

Experience with API/ASME codes and coatings inspection is required, with preference for candidates familiar with

Qualifications

• S1 degree in mechanical/Material engineering or science.
• Minimum 8 years experience in inspection of process piping; pipeline welding and installation, and other work associated with fabrication of onshore and offshore facilities for Oil and Gas.
• Experience with inspection activities on Mechanical Turbo Machinery Package.
• Experience with applicable codes and standards such as: API 1104, API 5L, ASME B 31.3, ASME B 31.4, ASME B 31.8, ASME Section IX and other codes and standards related to pipeline welding and installation.
• Holding CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent Welding Inspector certificate
• Certified NDT personnel (ASNT, PCN and BATAN), with at least 3 methods: RT, UT, MT/PT level 2
• NACE Level 2 certification or equivalent (qualified by FROSIO or similar)
• Experience with painting/coating inspection in oil and gas facilities; NACE Level 2 or equivalent preferred

• The Candidate shall be fully trained and have a minimum of 8 years experiences in inspection of process piping; pipeline welding and installation, and other work associated with fabrication of onshore and offshore facilities for Oil and Gas
• Have strong experience to carry out inspection activties on Mechanical Turbo Machinery Package.
• Experience with applicable codes and standards such as: API 1104, API 5L, ASME B 31.3, ASME B 31.4, ASME B 31.8, ASME Section IX and other codes and standards related to pipeline welding and installation.
• Holding CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent Welding Inspector certificate
