Job summary

Job description

Operate and set up CNC machines according to standard operating procedures and technical drawings. The role involves reading and understanding technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances, as well as performing measurements and inspections of machining results using precision measuring tools.

About you

Minimum education: SMK/SMA, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Machining, or related field

Minimum 1 year experience as CNC Machine Operator

Direct experience operating CNC machines

Able to set up CNC machines and install workpieces, tools, and fixtures

Able to read and understand technical drawings

Understand dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish on technical drawings

Able to use technical measuring tools such as: callipers, micrometer, or other related measuring tools

Understand basics of cutting speed, feed rate, spindle speed, and depth of cut

Able to perform basic adjustments to tool offset/work offset

Meticulous in performing measurements and inspections of work results
