Job summary

PT Honglu Baja Indonesia seeks a Crane Operator to operate a building hoist crane in accordance with SOP and safety standards. You will perform lifting, material handling, and inspect equipment before use, ensuring compliance with load charts and safe capacity limits.

Work closely with riggers or signalmen, using hand signals or radio communication, and maintain operation logs, running hours, and maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Minimum SMA/SMK education or equivalent (preferably Technical major).
• Experience as Crane Operator in Building Management, Property, or High-Rise Building environment.
• Understanding of building crane operation systems, lifting procedures, and occupational safety standards.
• Able to read rigging signals and communicate effectively with signalmen.
• Basic understanding of crane maintenance and mechanical/electrical condition inspection.
• Mastery of 5S housekeeping.
• Understanding of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) standards, able to identify potential hazards, and implement risk control before work begins.
• Physically healthy and ready to work in field/building areas.
• Disciplined, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work with building technical team.

Responsibilities

• Perform lifting and material handling, technical equipment, or property facilities as per instructions.
• Ensure crane unit, wire rope, hooks, and safety devices are in safe condition before use.
• Conduct daily routine inspections and report technical issues or damage to Engineering/Building Management.
• Ensure load capacity complies with load chart and safe capacity limits.
• Coordinate with riggers or signalmen using hand signals or radio communication.
• Secure and barricade crane operation areas to prevent hazards.
• Prepare crane operational logs, running hours, and maintenance records.

Ensure crane unit condition, wire rope, hooks, and safety devices are in safe condition before use. Conduct daily routine inspections and report technical issues or damage to the Engineering/Building Management team. Ensure load capacity complies with load chart and safe capacity limits to maintain building structure and surrounding area safety. Coordinate intensively with riggers or signalmen using hand signals or radio communication during crane operations. Secure and barricade crane operation areas to prevent hazards to visitors, customers, clients, and other workers. Prepare crane operational logs, unit running hours, and maintenance records on a regular basis.

About you
