Job summary

Client Mining Explosives based in Balikpapan is seeking an Operation Manager to lead the manufacturing and delivery of bulk explosives to blast sites in Indonesia. You will coordinate safety, technical services, engineering, maintenance, supply chain and finance to achieve contractual obligations.

The role requires a mining engineering qualification, 7+ years experience, HSE management experience, KJL Class II blasting certificate, SIM A, and English proficiency. Based in Balikpapan.

Qualifications

• HSE management systems experience required.
• Mining operations knowledge across open-pit, quarry, underground.
• Strong communication to motivate staff and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Indonesian mining regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing and delivery of bulk explosives and accessories to blast locations.
• Oversee safety, technical services, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and finance functions to support operations.
• Ensure training/certification of operational staff per regulations or customer requirements.
• Maintain safe operations and product quality to meet standards and contracts.
• Align business strategy with operational policies and procedures.
