Job summary

Oriental Sheet Piling, a business unit of ArcelorMittal, is seeking a full-time, on-site Operations Executive based in Tangerang to coordinate daily operational activities. You will handle order processing, inventory monitoring, logistics coordination, and purchasing, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely execution.

Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–2 years in operations is advantageous. Mandarin proficiency is preferred, and ERP experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma (D3/S1) in Industrial Engineering, Business Admin, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–2 years in operations, supply chain, logistics, warehouse, purchasing, or manufacturing is a plus.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency is preferred.
• Experience in steel, manufacturing, construction materials, trading, or industrial environments is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of order management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and purchasing.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate daily operational activities including order processing, fulfillment, and delivery arrangements.
• Review and process customer orders through ERP, email, or other platforms, ensuring accuracy and stock availability.
• Coordinate with warehouse and internal departments for timely order fulfillment and delivery.
• Monitor order status, stock levels, shipment schedules, and delivery progress; follow up on issues.
• Coordinate local purchasing activities and monitor daily purchasing requirements.
• Handle and coordinate overseas import shipments, including pre-shipment inspections, customs clearance, and related processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and warehouse personnel for smooth shipment and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and reconcile ERP records with physical stock.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Operations Executive role based in Tangerang. This role will be responsible for supporting and coordinating daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. The position will handle order processing, order fulfillment, inventory monitoring, logistics coordination, purchasing activities, and operational reporting. The role will work closely with internal departments, warehouse teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and other relevant parties to ensure timely order execution, accurate documentation, effective inventory management, and smooth coordination of operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate daily operational activities, including order processing, order fulfillment, and delivery arrangements.
• Receive, review, and process customer orders through the company’s ERP system, email, or other platforms, ensuring accuracy of order details, pricing, and stock availability.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery according to customer requirements.
• Monitor order status, stock availability, shipment schedules, and delivery progress, and follow up on any operational issues or delays.
• Coordinate local purchasing activities and monitor purchasing requirements related to daily operations.
• Handle and coordinate overseas import shipments, including pre-shipment inspections, shipping arrangements, customs clearance documentation, and import-related processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth shipment and delivery arrangements.
• Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock reconciliations between ERP records and physical warehouse stock.

General Requirements

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, warehouse, purchasing, or manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency is preferred.
• Experience in steel, manufacturing, construction materials, trading, or industrial environments is an advantage.
• Good understanding of operational processes, order management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and purchasing activities.
