Job summary

PT CTS INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS INDONESIA is seeking an experienced Operations Department Operator to join the North Jakarta team. This full-time role oversees day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring smooth, compliant execution and high service standards.

The ideal candidate will manage booking, trucking, customs, documentation, invoicing, and cross-department collaboration while driving process improvements and risk control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in logistics, trade, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of international freight operations experience.
• Fluent in Chinese and English (written and spoken).
• Proficient with Office and internal systems.
• Strong risk awareness and detail-oriented.
• Excellent cross-department communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Indonesian project operations from booking to delivery and SOP development.
• Conduct supplier quotations and help formulate local logistics solutions.
• Coordinate with sales, CS, and other departments on daily operations.
• Handle invoicing, payments, and accurate AR/AP system entries.
• Archive documents, identify operational risks, and coordinate resolutions.
• Facilitate cross-department handovers and knowledge sharing.
• Support onshore operational needs of the Indonesia project.

About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Operations Department Operator to join the dynamic team at PT CTS INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS INDONESIA, located in North Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a key role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of logistics operations. As a core member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant execution of logistics operations, while driving operational performance to achieve company goals. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards of service delivery and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• 1. Responsible for overseeing the entire operational process of the Indonesia project, including but not limited to booking cargo space, arranging trucking, customs declaration, document preparation, clearance, delivery, payment follow-up, and cargo release. Develop standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and work requirements, and continuously drive process optimization.
• 2. Conduct supplier quotations, participate in formulating local logistics solutions, and ensure their implementation.
• 3. Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other business departments to manage daily operations, maintain strong client relationships, and promptly and professionally address clients' inquiries and requests to enhance overall customer service experience.
• 4. Handle customer and supplier reconciliation, invoicing, and payment tracking; efficiently manage all settlement tasks to ensure accurate and error-free system entries for accounts receivable and payable.
• 5. Manage archiving of business documents, proactively identify operational risks, coordinate resolution of exceptions, and conduct regular reviews and knowledge sharing.
• 6. Facilitate effective cross-departmental communication and coordination to ensure smooth handovers across teams.
• 7. Complete other assigned tasks from management and support the onshore operational needs of the Indonesia project.

Qualifications:

• 1. Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in logistics management, international trade, business English, or related fields;
• 2. At least 2 years of experience in international freight operations, familiar with the full process of import and export via sea/air freight; candidates with experience on Indonesia routes are preferred;
• 3. Fluent in both Chinese and English, capable of using either as a working language (written emails and verbal communication);
• 4. Proficient in Office software and internal operating systems;
• 5. Strong risk awareness and ability to handle exceptions, detail-oriented, highly responsible, adaptable, and resilient under pressure;
• 6. Excellent cross-departmental communication and coordination skills, with a strong team spirit.
