Job summary

Archi Indonesia is seeking a Senior Operational Readiness Engineer to support planning and execution of readiness activities at the Toka Tindung Site, North Sulawesi. You will coordinate between Project and Operations teams, develop procedures, and oversee commissioning and ramp-up to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires 10–12 years in mineral/gold processing with 4–6 years in commissioning or plant operations, plus strong leadership and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering related to metallurgy, chemical, or mechanical disciplines.
• 10–12 years of experience in mineral or gold processing operations.
• 4–6 years in Operational Readiness, Commissioning, or plant operations for expansions.
• Experience in gold processing (CIL/CIP), tailings management, and plant expansion projects.
• Proven plant start-up and ramp-up experience.
• Knowledge of Indonesian regulations (AMDAL, HSE, environmental requirements).
• Strong communication, coordination and leadership skills; fluent in English.
• Willing to work on a contract-based employment arrangement; based at Toka Tindung Site, North Sulawesi.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the Operational Readiness Plan aligned with the project schedule.
• Coordinate operational readiness activities between Project and Operations teams.
• Coordinate development/review of operating procedures, emergency plans, maintenance strategies, and systems.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and competency assessment of operations staff.
• Liaise with vendors/contractors to ensure training and knowledge transfer during commissioning.
• Participate in Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up, Handover and Ramp-up activities to ensure safe readiness.
• Identify and monitor operational risks and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Monitor Operational Readiness KPIs and prepare regular progress reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Good understanding of Indonesian regulations, including AMDAL, HSE, and environmental requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Willing to work on a contract-based employment arrangement.
• Willing to be based at Toka Tindung Site, North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
