Job summary

Alpha Magsaysay seeks a qualified shipboard doctor to deliver comprehensive medical care for guests and crew across outpatient, inpatient, and ICU settings aboard a commercial vessel.

You will consult guests and crew, develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans, perform procedures and coordinate referrals/evacuations while supporting preventative health programs and public health practices. You will also participate in drills, audits and training with the crew.

Qualifications

• Provide high-quality medical care onboard, including preventive health and wellness.
• Coordinate clinical referrals and evacuations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized outpatient, inpatient and ICU care for guests and crew.
• Consult crew and guests, formulating differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Perform clinical interventions and procedures and coordinate referrals and evacuations.
• Manage preventative health programs for crew and adhere to public health practices.
• Participate in drills, audits, inspections and training of other crew members.
