Job summary

SUMMARECON MALL MAKASSAR is seeking an Officer - Accounting to join our finance team at the Makassar mall. This entry-level role welcomes fresh graduates and focuses on recording and maintaining financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.

You will prepare and review journal entries, perform reconciliations (cash, AP, AR), and assist with financial reporting, audits, and filing. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting and strong numerical and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial reporting.
• Able to record and review financial transactions accurately and review documents.

Job Description:

• Record and maintain financial transactions and accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting principles and procedures.
• Prepare and review journal entries and ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
• Perform account reconciliations, including cash, bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable reconciliations.
• Prepare supporting data and documents required for financial reporting, audits, and other accounting processes.
• Monitor and maintain accounting documentation and filing, ensuring all accounting records and administrative processes are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
