Job summary

Altius Hospitals Puri Indah is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical team in Jakarta. The role involves preparing the OR, calibrating equipment, verifying patient identity and consent, and positioning patients safely on the table, while ensuring sterile technique throughout.

You will hand instruments, track counts, monitor vitals with the anesthesia team, manage room logistics, and document surgical notes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• ACLS/ BTCLS certification preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience as Nurse OT.
• 1–2 years clinical or general nursing experience with OR/ICU exposure.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Enforce hygiene protocols, manage biohazard/waste disposal, and adhere to NABH/JCI standards.

Manage the non-sterile zone, coordinate room logistics, monitor patient vital signs with the anesthesia team, and run safety checklists.

Transfer patients to the recovery room or ICU, document surgical notes, clean and sterilize equipment, and restock supplies for the next case.

Enforce strict hygiene protocols, manage biohazard/waste disposal, and adhere to hospital quality standards (e.g., NABH, JCI)

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing major

Preferably have certification in ACLS/ BTCLS

Proven at least 2 years of experience as Nurse OT

Generally requires 1 to 2 years of clinical or general nursing experience, with specific time spent in an operating room or critical care setting.

Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, strong crisis response, calm demeanor under pressure, and clear communication
