Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group in Indonesia is seeking an experienced nurse to provide patient care in ICU/ICCU/HCU settings. The role involves maintaining a safe, comfortable environment, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring readiness of equipment and medications.

You will monitor patient conditions, assist during procedures, and handle post-procedure administrative tasks and education for families. The position requires at least 3 years as a Level I Clinical Nurse and a valid nursing degree.

Qualifications

• S1 Profesi Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years experience as Level I Clinical Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Carry out patient nursing care/services in the ICU/ICCU/HCU unit.
• Prepare facilities for smooth service; ensure room security and comfort, and verify required equipment and medicines are available.
• Provide nursing care using standard practice; observe, monitor, and document patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist patients before and during procedures with doctors; prepare patient physically and psychologically, and provide security and comfort.
• Prepare patients post-procedure including administrative needs, home care instructions, and prescriptions where needed.
• Implement and maintain a system for recording and reporting nursing care to ensure accurate information flow.
• Implement quality and safety procedures and attend trainings to support hospital indicators and department targets.

Job description

• Responsible for carrying out patient nursing care/services in the ICU/ICCU/HCU unit.
• Prepare facilities for smooth service and make it easier for patients/families to receive services, by: Arranging the security and comfort of the room. Check and ensure that all required equipment is functioning properly and that medicines and other necessary medical equipment are available and ready to use.
• Provide nursing care using standard nursing practice: Carry out emergency medical/nursing actions according to the patient's main health problem. Make observations, monitor the patient's health condition (general condition: physical, psychological, vital signs and main complaints) during the procedure and immediately after the procedure.
• Helping patients before and during procedures by doctors, including: Preparing the patient both physically and psychologically, calming the patient, adjusting the patient's position. Provide a sense of security and comfort to the patient/family during the procedure.
• Prepare patients who have completed procedures, including: Administrative needs, such as: instructions for home care, sick certificates, referral letters if necessary, and prescriptions for home use. Provide health education to patients/families as needed.
• Implement and maintain a system for recording and reporting nursing care, so as to create an accurate information and communication system.
• Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets.
