Job summary

Siloam International Hospitals (Siloam) is seeking a qualified nurse to provide ICU/ICCU/HCU nursing care and support in a high‑quality hospital setting.

You will prepare rooms, check equipment and medications, monitor patients, assist doctors during procedures, educate families, and maintain accurate nursing records while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) Degree from Nursing.
• Minimum 5 years work experience as Level I Clinical Nurse.
• Experience in ICU/ICCU/HCU or critical care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out patient nursing care in ICU/ICCU/HCU.
• Prepare facilities and ensure equipment and medicines are ready for use.
• Monitor patient health and administer emergency actions as needed.
• Assist doctors during procedures and provide patient comfort and security.
• Provide post-procedure care instructions and home care guidance.
• Maintain a system for recording and reporting nursing care.
• Support quality and safety training and hospital indicators.

Job description

Responsible for carrying out patient nursing care/services in the ICU/ICCU/HCU unit.

Prepare facilities for smooth service and make it easier for patients/families to receive services, by: Arranging the security and comfort of the room. Check and ensure that all required equipment is functioning properly and that medicines and other necessary medical equipment are available and ready to use.

Provide nursing care using standard nursing practice: Carry out emergency medical/nursing actions according to the patient's main health problem. Make observations, monitor the patient's health condition (general condition: physical, psychological, vital signs and main complaints) during the procedure and immediately after the procedure.

Helping patients before and during procedures by doctors, including: Preparing the patient both physically and psychologically, calming the patient, adjusting the patient's position. Provide a sense of security and comfort to the patient/family during the procedure.

Prepare patients who have completed procedures, including: Administrative needs, such as: instructions for home care, sick certificates, referral letters if necessary, and prescriptions for home use. Provide health education to patients/families as needed.

Implement and maintain a system for recording and reporting nursing care, so as to create an accurate information and communication system.

Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets.
