Job summary

World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia seeks a Net Zero Hub Lead to steer the KADIN Net Zero Hub’s strategy and execute its programs from Jakarta. The role combines technical leadership on corporate decarbonization with program management and high-level stakeholder engagement with KADIN Indonesia, IBCSD, and donors.

The position is based in Jakarta with an office-flex arrangement, reporting to the Net Zero Senior Analyst.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental/engineering or related field; master's preferred.
• Minimum 4 years in corporate sustainability, decarbonization, or climate advisory.
• Strong GHG accounting knowledge (GHG Protocol) and SBTi criteria.
• Familiarity with ISSB/IFRS S2, GRI, CDP, TCFD standards.
• Knowledge of decarbonization solutions for manufacturing and hard-to-abate sectors.
• Ability to engage Indonesian business stakeholders and manage multi-stakeholder partnerships.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating complex projects.
• Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Willingness to travel; legally able to work in Indonesia; Jakarta-based.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine Hub strategy; translate priorities into annual work plan.
• Lead delivery of all Hub workstreams; ensure quality and timelines.
• Monitor performance against indicators; adjust program based on data.
• Keep technical content current with GHG Protocol, SBTi and disclosure standards.
• Lead Corporate Assistance Program design and delivery.
• Provide senior technical guidance on GHG inventories, target setting, and decarbonization levers.
• Support transition planning, governance, and disclosure.
• Build pipeline of new participants with Line Manager.
• Serve as day-to-day focal point with partners; represent Hub publicly.
