Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking an NDT Technical Manager based in Batam, Indonesia, to oversee all NDT operations in APAC. The role covers compliance, accreditations, personnel oversight, procedure development, and technical support for business development.

You will implement project-specific quality systems, supervise NDT staff, and stay current with advanced NDT methods while ensuring adherence to industry standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Valid NDT Level III certification in MT, PT, UT, and RT (ASNT/PCN/CSWIP).

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain NDT project-specific quality and technical systems and procedures.
• Assist Project Managers in preparing technical procedures.
• Advise and assist personnel in implementing NDT procedures and techniques.
• Ensure standards and codes are maintained by the Company.
• Provide a focal point for NDT staff to discuss technical procedures, techniques and standards.
• Provide NDT training to personnel to gain or upgrade qualifications.
• Coordinate audits with HSEQ and Inspection Groups.
• Conduct quality audits on NDT projects.
• Interface with clients and inspectors to resolve technical issues.
• Stay current with emerging NDT technologies and standards.
