Job summary

FAO’s National Project Assistant for FOLUR will support the planning, coordination and monitoring of project activities under the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Forestry in Indonesia. The role involves assisting in the preparation of annual work plans, review of documents, and ensuring alignment with FAO/UNDP procedures, with a focus on results-based reporting and knowledge sharing.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and has at least 5 years of project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, forestry, rural livelihoods, development management or related fields is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in relevant project management.
• Working knowledge of English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project activities with MoA and MoFor and strategic partners.
• Support preparation, monitoring and reporting of project implementation, progress and budgets.
• Assist in knowledge management, reporting, workshops and documentation for project outputs.
